One of the SmartCash team members, João Gabriel Correa, made a video guide in Portuguese on how to create a SmartNode on the hosting service Pecunia. It’s a step-by-step guide that shows the whole process starting from the registration process on Pecunia.

In this article we will describe the steps required in order to create a SmartNode.

First, you need to sign up on the Pecunia Platform website. If you already have an account, just log in.

On Pecunia you can pay for hosting in SmartCash (SMART), which will definitely be an advantage for many users, as you do not need to convert crypto to USD or BTC.

Open the “Home” page. Select SMART from the list of coins. Select the 0.99 USD / month option or another (3 months, 6 months).

Follow the steps on the website:

After sending a 100 000 SMART to a new address, paste the transaction ID so the service will recognize that you created your SmartNode.

Wait until SmartNode is synchronized.

Then click “Start Alias” from your SmartCash Node Client or Electrum wallet.
