A month ago, the SmartCash team released the major 1.3 Phoenix Release, which introduced many important and useful changes, such as SmartRewards and the new SuperRewards, SAPI, a new address format, increased block size and others. The SmartCash team continued to actively work on improving user experience and fixing SmartNodes / pool synchronization bugs in 1.3.1 version.

SmartCash team is now finalizing the final changes in 1.3.2 version, which will be available soon. A link to GitHub will be added at the end of the article as soon as the version is released.

What will be changed?

This version will include many useful changes that fix bugs with time locked payments, a more correct calculation for SmartRewards / SuperRewards and others. Here is the full list:

  • Added estimated for SmartRewards at start of round
  • Updated format for the % payouts.

  • Protocol Update

Who should perform this update?

This update is mandatory for node owners due to the addition of new SAPI calls. Node owners will be able to complete the update within 3 weeks before the old nodes will no longer receive any rewards.

Pools should also be updated within a period of up to 3 weeks.

If I just want to receive SmartRewards / SuperRewards, should I update my wallet?

The new version will show more information messages about activating SmartRewards and includes SmartRewards / SuperRewards estimates. SmartRewards / SuperRewards estimates are continuously updated.
